Accessibility

Last updated 23 May 2026Kaelo Global, Meydan Free Zone, Dubai

Kaelo Global wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We have built kaeloglobal.com to the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard wherever we can, and we treat accessibility as part of the same editorial standard the rest of the site is held to. This page describes what we have done, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us when something does not work.

What we have built in

  • A skip to content link. Press Tab on any page to jump straight to the main content, past the header and the navigation.
  • An accessibility settings panel. A button in the bottom left of every page opens controls for text size, contrast and motion. Your settings are remembered on that device for 12 months.
  • Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element can be reached and used with the keyboard alone, and the focus outline is always visible, so you can see where you are.
  • Reduced motion respected. If your operating system asks for reduced motion, the site honours it automatically and the reveal animations are switched off.
  • Semantic markup. Headings are nested in order, landmarks are labelled, and images either carry meaningful alternative text or are marked as decorative so that a screen reader can skip them.
  • Colour contrast. Body text meets the AA contrast standard on both light and dark sections, and a higher contrast mode is available in the accessibility panel.
  • Form labels. Our enquiry forms use properly associated labels, error messages that are announced rather than shown only in colour, and a submit flow that works from the keyboard.
  • Text that reflows. Pages work at 200 per cent browser zoom and on a narrow phone screen without horizontal scrolling or text disappearing behind other elements.

Known limitations

  • Headings are set in a display typeface whose letterforms some readers find harder to scan at small sizes. Body text uses a plainer face throughout, and no text is set in italics. The text size controls in the accessibility panel help, and standard browser zoom up to 200 per cent is fully supported.
  • Hero images carry a dark gradient so that white text stays readable. If the contrast is still difficult, the higher contrast mode in the panel renders text in black on white instead.
  • The site has not yet been reviewed by an external accessibility specialist. We intend to commission one before the next major content release, and we will update this page when that review has happened.
  • Some documents we link to are produced by other organisations, and we cannot guarantee that those files meet the same standard. Where a document matters to a decision you are making, write to us and we will provide the content in another format.

If something does not work for you

If you find a part of this site that does not work with your assistive technology, or you think we have missed an accessibility detail, please write to info@kaeloglobal.com. We read every message and reply in writing within two working days. Tell us which page you were on, which browser or device you were using and what was not working, and we will reproduce the problem and fix it. If a fix will take time, we will say so and tell you what we can do in the meantime.

Standards we work to

WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Where the UK Equality Act 2010, the European Accessibility Act, or UAE Federal Law No. 29 of 2006 on the rights of people with disabilities apply to what we publish, we treat those as a minimum standard rather than a ceiling.

Reviews of this statement

This statement was last reviewed alongside the site itself. We review it once a year and after any significant change to the site, and we would rather record a limitation here than leave someone to discover it for themselves.
