Activity 05
An in-house import and export operation. We buy cloth from established mills in India, Indonesia, Japan and Malaysia, and bring it into the United Arab Emirates.
What this activity does
This is the oldest activity in the house and the one the others learned from. It is a trade: we hold the relationships, take the position and carry the risk. We own no factories and we do not manufacture — the mills we buy from have run with us, in several cases, for more than two decades.
Operating record
Reallocation across Indonesia, Malaysia and India restored fulfilment within a season and stabilised landed cost at the prior baseline.
How an engagement works
We establish the question the work has to answer, and write it down before anything is bought or built.
Delivery and measurement go live together, reviewed on a stated cadence with the model open to you.
Effort shifts from rented results to owned assets, so what we build outlasts the engagement.

Common questions
Apparel and garments across four Asian origins, through established independent mills — the textile trade Kaelo has run in Asia since 1989, and the vertical backbone behind the group’s own brands.
No. Kaelo Global is a trading business, not a manufacturer. We buy finished and semi-finished textile goods on our own account and sell them on; we do not run production for third parties.
Long-standing mill relationships across Asia, held to a single standard since 1989, with trade and export run in-house.
