Kaelo Global workplace

Work that is signed with your name.

We hire principals, not benches. If you want your judgement to carry weight — and your name to carry the work — this is a house built for that.

Why Kaelo

Accountability, not anonymity

The advice you give and the work you ship carry your name. No hiding behind a firm logo.

Own capital, real stakes

We trade and build on the group’s own balance sheet — you learn on decisions that actually matter.

Measured in decades

A privately held house with no quarterly clock — careers here are built for the long horizon, like the enterprise.

How hiring works here

Selective, always

We do not run an open pipeline and we do not advertise vacancies continuously. Hiring happens when an activity needs a specific person, and it usually starts from a written introduction that arrived months earlier. If you have run a business unit, founded a company, led an operating function or built a product to launch, write to us and say what you built — a principal reads every note.

Introduce yourself in writing. We reply within two working days, including when the answer is no.

Begin

Introduce yourself.

Tell us what you have built and what you want to build next. Written replies within two working days.

What “operator” means here

We hire operators. Few of them. For a long time.

Kaelo Global runs a deliberately small workforce across four activities from a single Dubai office. We do not run an open-pipeline recruitment programme; the people we hire each year fit on a single page. You have run a business unit, founded a company, led an operating function, or built a product to launch — not run a slide deck about one. You think in years, not quarters. We read writing samples: plain prose, structured argument, defensible numbers. And you are comfortable being unnamed — we will not promote you in case studies, podcast appearances, or industry awards. The discretion goes both ways.

Five steps. Written at each one. No surprises.

The process is short, specific and the same for every senior role. Junior hires follow a compressed version of the same shape. You will know where you stand at every stage.

01 · Written introduction

One page maximum. Tell us what you have run, what you want to run next, and why Kaelo is the place to do it. Read by a principal; no auto-acknowledgements.

02 · The conversation

If the introduction lands, a forty-minute conversation with the relevant activity principal. The agenda is set in advance and the questions are specific.

03 · Real work

For most senior hires, a paid one-week piece of real work on a real problem. We learn whether you operate the way the writing suggested. You learn whether the work suits.

04 · The offer

Terms are explicit. We do not run salary negotiations through five rounds; the first written offer is close to the final one.

05 · Ninety days

You are paired with a sitting principal for the first ninety days. Weekly written reviews, not informal check-ins. The bar for confirmation is clear from day one.

Five things we will say in writing.

Ownership of a real surface area

Within the first six months, you will be the named person responsible for a defined book of work. Decisions sit with you. Credit and blame both sit with you.

Compensation without theatre

Cash compensation at the upper end of the local market for the role. Bonus tied to outcomes we can both measure in writing. No equity theatre.

Reviews in writing

Quarterly written reviews. Not a calibration meeting you hear about second-hand. The principal who hires you is the principal who writes them.

Career architecture, not a ladder

We do not promote on tenure. Senior moves are made when the work demands them; lateral moves between activities are encouraged and supported.

One job, done well

We deliberately under-stack roles. You will not be asked to manage seven competing priorities; the operating model is built so each principal can do one job well.

Five places to work, inside one enterprise.

Hiring sits with the activities, not with a central HR team. Pick the activity your work belongs to; that is the principal you will be talking to.
