In 2024 Kaelo’s marketing and media work, which had until then been operated as a department supporting the Advisory and Commerce divisions, was consolidated into a standalone operating practice — Kaelo Marketing & Media. The formalisation reflected the operating reality: the studio bench had grown large enough, and the discipline against which the work was measured had become exacting enough, that the practice needed its own seat at the Operating Council and its own internal accountability line.
The division was articulated as a full-stack studio: brand strategy and identity, digital performance marketing, public relations and communications, content and thought leadership, social media management, media production and creative, influencer partnerships, web and digital build, and analytics and performance — each held by named principals, each operating against an audit-grade quality standard.
One operating principle was deliberately written into the formalisation: the studio operates only from Dubai. It is a working unit, not a remote project room. Where clients require regional execution, the Dubai team travels; the studio itself is not federated or franchised. The principle defends the standard.
The 2024 formalisation has been continuously audited under Operating Council standard since. The division’s engagement structure — written scopes, named accountability, no growth on a calendar — is consistent with the rest of the enterprise. The standing rule of the studio is that the practice should publish less, defensibly, with a record it can defend years later.
